Dwight was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and now resides in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. He was raised in a Christian home, where he began singing in choirs and in other vocal groups. While attending Music College, Dwight developed a burning passion for the piano and promptly started learning the basics. He eventually became his church’s organist, learning incessantly on his own and has been playing since then!

Dwight is an accomplished pianist/singer/composer, very passionate about music and loves entertaining; he believes that music touches the hearts of many, whether through toe-tapping, swaying with the music or any of the other unique ways that music unites us. Dwight has a wide range vocally and has been known for his virtuosity; he has performed pieces from a baritone Barry White to tenor Luther Van dross and even Philip Bailey. He brings his own feel and passion to the music and let the songs become his and because of this, his performances are filled with panache and are crowd-pleasing to his listeners.

Dwight has entertained in hotels, Resorts and Casinos both locally and internationally, Top Hotel such as; Ritz Carlton, Ibero Stars, Holiday Inn, Mirage (Las Vegas), Nuggets Casino, to name a few. He has traveled many parts of the world including; Australia, Spain, Greece, England, Scotland, Mexico, The Caribbean, Asia e.t.c. When you can’t find Dwight performing on Land, you may find him at Sea, performing his Two Dynamic Headliner Shows, his exuberant Tribute to Sir Elton John “WITH A TAN” and The Memories of Motown Music, in main Show Theatres or Cabaret Rooms.

Dwight’s complete repertoire includes music from the songbooks of Nat King Cole, Stevie Wonder, Frank Sinatra, and Ray Charles, Michael Buble and others. Dwight also entertains vocally and with his piano artistry in lounges when he is not doing main stage
performances.

Dwight Blake has recently opened for Award Winning “The Canadian Tenors (Now known as THE TENORS)”, and has shared stages with many Top Names.

Dwight has lots of inspiration and listens to all genres of singers, from which he has created his own style and these are just some of his favorites: Miles Davis, Chick Corea, Diana Krall, Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonders, Luther Van dross, Al Jarreau and Smokie Robinson!
